Microsoft Max September 10, 2006

Is it just Microsoft buying companies or are they really getting good? Their product, Microsoft Max, originally a photo viewer, has now added an Rss/Atom reader. I just found this today, and I gotta tell you, the last time I instantly fell in love with a program/app so quickly was when GMail first came out. Max just looks clean and is the easiest RSS reader I’ve ever used, and I’ve used lots. From Google Reader, to NewsGator, Bloglines, etc. I don’t plan on ever using the photo managing software, Picasa has that job done for me, but other than that, Microsoft Max looks and feels really good. Oh, and get this, it’s in beta!
